So nice to have you visit the official web page for Indiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (IAMFT)! IAMFT is the premier organization for relationship counseling in Indiana. But, don’t be fooled by the name. Marriage and family therapists (MFTs) work with individuals; adults, adolescents and children as well as people in relationship, and families.

We are therapists who are trained in “systems thinking” and therefore you will find us in a variety of settings including health care, schools, business and industry. We are able to do this by becoming educated and trained to the masters and doctoral levels then licensed by the state of Indiana. The Indiana Association of MFTs is a division of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and is devoted to keeping the highest professional standards for therapists and providing the greatest ethical safeguards for the public throughout the United States and Canada. AAMFT also represents the professional interests of more than 23,000 marriage and family therapists throughout the US, Canada and abroad.
